Daniel had recommended him.
“He evaluated me?”
“For almost three hours.”
“I don’t remember that.”
“You were having a bad week.”
That statement hurt, but I knew it was true.
Mark continued.
“Dr. Leland said he was concerned about your concentration, but he also thought the medication changes could be affecting you. He recommended waiting six weeks before drawing conclusions.”
Rachel leaned forward.
“Was there a written report?”
“Yes.”
“Where is it?”
Mark hesitated.
“That is the problem.”
I felt my stomach tighten.
“Mark.”
“I scanned it into the private records system.”
“And?”
“Two weeks later, when Daniel asked me for everything connected to your condition, the March seventeenth report was gone.”
“Deleted?”
“I don’t know.”
“Who had access?”
Mark looked miserable.
“You. Me. Elena. Daniel, after you authorized him during your hospitalization. And Gregory’s office had document access for estate planning.”
Gregory.
Again.
I turned toward the window.
