“What?”

“Look at the order he put them in. Counseling. Madison. Apology. Accounts. Postnup.” I tapped the last page. “And then the thing he actually wants.”

Cole Family Catering missed payroll that Tuesday.

Richard sent a company-wide email blaming me. He wrote that “an unexpected personal dispute” had interrupted the company’s financing, and that he was “working tirelessly around the clock to protect every member of our Cole family team.”

Graham forwarded that email straight to Nina.

He also forwarded a string of older emails. Emails proving that Richard had been quietly moving company money into his hidden account in Maryland for months. Graham swore he hadn’t known anything about it.
