Officer Ruiz asked her to let Mr. Hall work.
The manager slowed the footage even more.
A figure came into clearer view beside the automatic doors.
Mr. Hall stopped the video.
He stared at the monitor for a second without speaking.
Then he moved the cursor back once more, replayed the same few seconds, and paused at a single frame.
Megan stepped toward the desk.
Officer Ruiz lifted one hand, signaling her to stay where she was.
Mr. Hall enlarged the image.
And every person in that freezing little security office looked at the screen.
