“A private physician,” Samuel said. “Dr. Elaine Porter.”
Emma looked back sharply. “I never saw Dr. Porter.”
Samuel’s face tightened. “I was afraid of that.”
The room went very quiet.
Samuel continued, “I attempted to contact you directly multiple times. My emails bounced from your private address. Calls to your overseas office were redirected through your family office.
